Cannondaleriders

Alright, I got soem Elka's from a 400ex for my Dale. I knwo they top mounts on the shocks are too small. I don't have time to get the bushing from the quadshop because I play football and they close at 5:30. I didn't get home tonight till 5:35. So the question is what can I do to use the shocks to race on sunday? I can make a spacer to use just for the race, but because I don't have my bike at my house right now I can't measure how much of a spacer I need. If anyone can give me this info, or if you have the bushings laying around that you would like to part with post here or e-mail me directly at xthedarkjesterx@aol.com.

Go to lowes or home depot and get some washers...Pile them up in there on both sides of the shock and you are set. That is the normal thing to do anyway..... Bushing? rofl!!:drink:

If Maz doesn't get them to me, I am gonna use the bushings out of my arvins. The bushings look liek rubber tophats, so I will cut them and then cut the metal rod that goes through them so they don't just compress and Voila!
