moto or blaze top spings and collars
anybody know where I can get the blaze top black springs or the moto ones if they are the same spring rate. My plan is to take them and the seperator collars and convert the speed ohlins to a triple rate anybody done this or know it will work I dont want to convert it to ssd just a triple rate and i need the springs and the collars so if ya have them give me a shout.

What gets me hung up about the whole valving thing is no one talks about how to do it for the "do it yourselfer". Yes, you might have to purchase special tools but for some of us it might be worth it...
From my understanding it is like +300$ to have your stocker converted.. where, now I am just guessing... its like 100$ in parts.
Maybe it is that hard to convert.. I would just like to know more about doing it yourself...

you would compress the top springs if it was a ssd style spring but the moto and blaze didnt have ssd style shocks so you wont compress the top spring. All I want to do is add the moto or blaze top springs make the speed ohlins a triple rate to make it a better shock to kinda go with the blaze ohlins rear that is on the bike now. the speed ohlins are a dual rate since they are progressively wound springs and if you add the blaze or moto top spring it would be a triple rate I know it has been done maybe cannondale27 has I think.
