Clutch oils?

#1 Post by atvrulz »

It says in the manual to use SAE 10 mineral hydrualic clutch oil.
Is there alternatives to this such as ISO 32 hydraulic oil? I cannot find any SAE 10 mineral hydraulic clutch oil, so can i use ISO 32 hydraulic oil?

They want you to use a mineral oil.If you go to the drugstore you can buy babyoil which is mineral oil it just smells nice but works great.

I bought some at Kroger's last night...The bottle of mineral oil was labeled as a laxative, made me think I got the wrong stuff..Thanks for confirming Cannondale27.tongue.gif

I also tried the Intestinal mineral oil & the baby oil stuff, It did not work for me. In warm weather it is fine but, when it was cold the clutch slave didn't return fast enough. I would go with the magura blood, it is the way to go.
