I am using evans coolant in my dale moto right now and it seems like the fan is always on. The coolant maybe does not lower the temp low enough. What about trying Engine Ice High performance coolant? Will this eat away at my valve cover if it is not powder coated?

It runs at about 185 with evans when running hard. The fan come son at 176. 185 isnt 'too' hot. The fan just comes on at a low temp. Ive never had my bike overheat with this stuff in it.

My quad ran fine until i used the evans coolant. first time i rode it i noticed than it ran much hotter than with regular coolant. The fan never seemed to shut off with the evans. now im running maxima coolinol and it runs much cooler than with the evans and it is safe for use with magnesium.

I use Evans in mine and have had no problems. It does seem to have the fan running a lot more than stock coolant but I can't see too much harm in that. Anything's better than stock though.

looks like i will stick with evans then.
Sounds like you know what your talking about. I will just ignore the fan being on all the time.

I have seen some cracked liners also.Did you notice that the crack would be right where the dimple mark is drilled into the sleeve?Someone drilled the dimple too deep on the ones I saw they were about 1/8 in. deep.I couldnt believe it.Still your explanation makes sense combined with the deep dimples or not.Run the Evans and take care of multiple problems.
