radatior overflow bottle

I broke the the nipple the hose connects to on my radatior bottle. I noticed that some quads dont have that hose. do i need to find a new bottle, or can i plug the one i have?

thanks-------if i ask for a 3/8 compression fitting at a plumbers supply store they will know what im talking about right?

Make sure it has a nipple on top like in the picture
