Well I was in the process of putting this thing back together, I took the head completely apart and cleaned everything from top to bottom to get rid of all the pieces of the decomp. Well as I was assembling everything, I started to put the timing chain back on and noticed that I have a left over washer about the size of a dime. How many of these are there and where on the side of the motor do they go? please help

Might be the one that goes behind the top timing change gear

I figured it out, the washer went inside the oil pump cover. Thanks

A good tip is when you take apart a motor have some zipties handy and as you take off gears an pumps string the parts on ziptie s o they are always in order taken off and it makes it easy to clean them also so they dont blow away when you blow them off.
