installed my hmf exhaust

#1 Post by cdale127 »

well it took me like an hour (after all plastic was removed ) but i got the HMF full system installed. i ordered my HMF from the quadshop for my cdale. i was impressed with the fit and finish of both the stainless headpipe and the silencer. the silencer is thier "BLACK CHROME" color. the sounds is sweet and i will be testing the performance gains out this weekend, although the little blast down the street last night was very imressive

i will measure the temp of the shock this weekend and see if it gets warm enough to effect it. my plastic was warm to the touch with the toaster ....but i never felt my shock.

When I used to ride for Scott Summer, we used to wrap our headers for more power on our XR's. I don't believe the shock is being effected by the header heat enough to mess with it. I haven't noticed any fade at all on my Blaze shock.
