transmission drain plug

#1 Post by fourwhls »

I stripped out my drain plug a while back and still haven't been able to get a new one.

Can you guys send me in the right direction?

Changing the oil using vice grips is getting old.

Maz will have a newly designed one available shortly. Within 2 weeks. Will not strip out, but you will have to re-use the washers.

yesterday i machined a few sample plugs for maz, we're using some different types of materials than c-dale did, so that they'll hold up better and not strip out. i'll be sending maz the samples this week and he'll try stripping them. when he tells me which material to use, they'll be readily available in days.

I would doug , but maz is the one that handed it to me and said "can you make these for me"? I'm afraid these will probably have to go through maz first if he decides to order them through me. I'll let you know.
