Lonestar Sprocket Hub
Hi all, I've got a Lonestar sprocket hub and it has some play. If I grab the sprocket, I can rock the hub on the axle back and forth (not side to side). I am worried that it might strip the splines. I called Lonestar and they said that they have only seen three hubs strip (total, ever). In my recollection, I seem to remember several people claiming problems with their Lonestar axles/hubs??? What do you think? Should I put an OEM sprocket hub on there or should I run the Lonestar?
One more question....I'm having trouble getting the axle nuts off of the ends of the axle to remove the wheel hubs. Impact wrench doesn't help, tried a breaker bar, standing on it, won't budge. Any tricks?

Mine never got lose, never had that much time on it. But eons ago a lot of ppl were haveing problems with them,so i drilled the hub and put in a set screw in it. Got ready to put it back on then didnt like the way it didnt match the rotor hub so i tock it off put on the stocker. The only problem i really have it keeping the axle nut tight.
One more thing to try on your wheel hub nuts aside from heat is wile your hitting it with an air gun,hit on the socket with a BFH.

Just got off the phone with Lonestar. They basically told me that they do not warranty this part because "it is a wear item." Also, because they do not sell much Cannondale stuff, they don't really care about the problem.
I suggested that I will probably not purchase anymore Lonestar stuff, they seemed to be fine with that too.
