fuel pump?

fuel pump?

changed my fuel filter and now when i bump my start button my fuel pump makes a loud whine. it will start and run and when the pump starts getting loud it stalls. any ideas?

If you are sure that none of the fuel lines are pinched, the filter isn't backwards, and that the quick-connects are ok, then you have a bad pump. It's important to verify the above, because if the pump is starving for fuel, it will sound funny. Make sure that while running, there is fuel visible inside the filter. If your pump is bad, I can save you some money, I have one for sale. PM me if the pump is the problem.

i lucked out this time. it was the quick disconnect at the back of fuel tank. thanks for the help.

i did not seat the quick disconnect properly

My return line to the quick connect was not seated properly under the tank. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
