What upgrades do I need to do to a new 03 speed?

the simplest thing to do is have your local dealer put in a stage 8 kit, it includes all the updates, and have them put it in

You'll want to do:

-the Stage 8 kit (no safety wire needed)
-the front motor mount update if it's not already there
-make sure that the battery is not rubbing on the front motor mount
-maybe the crankcase vent update

You can get all this except the vent update at cdaleparts.com. The vent update is 5 bucks in parts at a harware store. Do searches here and at cannondaler.com forums for instructions - they are all out there.

Doesnt the stage 8 kit have all the motor mount updates and all the updates for that matter in it???ii wa told the stage 8 kit has all the updates.

Stage 8 includes the bolts for the crank plate and trans plate, that's it. 17 bolts and hardware if I remember correctly. At least that's all mine had...
