deat i used the mid pipe of my gsxr1000.i cut the flange side off and welded a 60degree fitting on it.if u get a 2 1/8 inch pipe it will slip fit on the stock header.i welded mine on there.i bolted the stock 1000 can on the bike ,fits perfect.it is quiet now, more motor noise than exhaust.i am goin to unbolt the can and just bolt my carbon yoshi pipe on tonight, should wake things up.i will get a flange and pipe welded up for u and send one out this week hopefully.i have been busy getting my bike to chrome and powder lately so thats been taking my time up.oh ya,new coolant sensor and my dale fires right up ,im getting happier every day!

there are alot of nice cans out there.i did it because i had the parts in the garage so it cost me nothing.i'll post pics today,it looks very nice, not hacked up at all.

This is a stock tl1000 suzuki can.it is about an inch and a half past the rear grab bar.this is with using the stock can mount mounted to the stock location on the quad.u can avoid this by cutting into the header pipe a little.my yoshi can from my gsxr1000 is about 3 inches less so it would fit perfect.im going to mount the carbon can tomorrow and see how it sounds.Remember i went from some crap can that the old owner hacked the crap out of to get on,it was terrible.it was like running no exhaust.the stock can feels very good, still lifts the tires easily in 2nd gear.if the carbon can sounds good im going to search ebay for one.i'll get those pics up tomorrow after mounted.

Excellent. That is what I am using. I am interested in trying something like this. I just need to be at 96db and still have good flow. And also not hit the brake caliper at full compression.
