Looking to buy a degree wheel and dial indicator to set timing. Checking to see what others have before I buy.
I found just a wheel (think it is made by Motion Pro) on Bike bandit for 18.00 and a hot cam kit for 118.00 (It includes wheel and dial indicator).
So, if you own one, where did you get it, do you like and would you recomend it?

Thanks
Tom

About $40 for a stand and digital indiacator from Harbor Frieght does the trick . Kent Moore might still have new factory ones . Those are very nice.

Have an idea how I might get in touch with Kent Moore? Is he a member of the site?

Kent Moore is the company that made our factory degree wheels. He may be a nice guy, but never met him tongue.gif

I sold the last spare Kent Moore that I have. There is a guy on Ebay who I bought the 5 that I had from. He bought out al the Kent Moore inventory. I used to have his number. If you can find a member name on Ebay from an old listing he will call you. He wasn't interested in selling the whole lot, but was very fair with the pricing, around $22 or so...

a degree wheel is a solid investment no matter what brand you own when you do your own work and some on the side it saves your butt lol, i have a starret i believe dial indicator and it was an expensive one the last i remember. You can also get a motion pro one that will do the trick.

Just follow these directions and use the spread sheet and you cant hardly go wrong.
It eliminates alot of first timer mistakes.

I hope you got a Kent Moore Cannondale one. If I remember right they are backwards from the standard Motion Pros, so the Motion Pros must be mounted on flywheel side, like Cord at Black Widow does it. Major pain if you ask me.
