balancing the crank

#1 Post by haydug »

I have had several inquiries about balancing the crankshafts in the 03 cannondales. Is this performed in your reliability kit? Can you list your kits/prices for the members here, and explain what each involves.
I know after talking with you, you convinced me, and to any member out there, they do know what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a dale. I would buy a stage 8 kit and send the motor to SBM for the reliability kit, then ride for years to come and SPANK the new yamaha's and honda's.

Is it me or did the prices just go up quite a bit? I looked just yesterday and I think the Stage IV was about a thousand dollars cheaper.

..Yea thomez I think the prices did go up?? I thought it was Ridicious before, but this is just RAPE!!..Ill sale my dale b4 i spend that..With what most of us paided for theses bikes last year, and another 4k on top of that in the motor,we all could have a sick ex,z or god for bid yfz...and be just as fast and just as dependable..IMO....The only other place i can think of with Rape prices is Sparks, and we all know his stuff just about waxs everything..well more worth it...IMO

claas that really wasnt necessary was it?We all asked for this listing and he came through with it.Now is when we all have to decide if we are going to take a chance and leave as is,pay Southbay to do some or all their mods or figure out how to do them ourself. One thing I believe is that at one time or another they saw or were informed about everyproblem they have addresed so at least we cant say we werent warned.I believe everything they have listed would be an improvement to our motors I bet if he showed the hours involved I bet the prices arent out of line with all the machining involved. Also one big problem with developing mods is eventually others will copy them.Southbay took the initiative and someone else will make money off their ideas. It happens all the time. And will cost them. However I sure would like some pictures and desciptions so I could copy it.Just Kidding:D

Thanks Dustin
