We tested the fmf with quiet core again at the dyno day . The quad at idle with your hand over the exhaust end cap so it doesnt make noise is at 91/92 db. When tested at test speed it again blew 98 . Mydreamrides huge R1 muffler blew identical numbers . I dont think a stock muffler would be any quieter. The engines make most of the noise. Get out the silicone and goop the covers or get the european side panel kits .

i've got an FMF and the insides broke so i have no packing, basically open pipe. this thing is so loud it is ridiculas! is so loud it over powers riders in front of me and behind that have tricked out 2 or 4 strokes....its was really snappy with packing in it, thats long gone, but now it has a nice punch at upper rpms. anyone go any pipes laying around?

you can get toasters pretty cheap...probably not what you had in mind though
