Wow....hi all, this is my first post in years now and well I'm planning to blow the cobwebbs out of the Dale this summer. First thing is first, I need a new battery. tongue.gif I've done some searching and seems the Deka etx9 is the best way to go? What do you dalers think?

That be the one. Although I have yet to try one, Boomer highly recommends them. He is carrying them also. I have been using the PC310 Odyssey with great results also.

I know a lot of the racecar guys are starting to love the Braille batteries. I didn't know they were making ATV batteries. I am sure its a top notch piece.

I am also going to be needing a battery soon. Any recommendations on where to purchase, or prices on the pc310? I have never heard of these batteries before. I have always run interstate batteries due to the fact that is what my local dealer carries.

I personally would go with the Deka from Boomer for the price. I got my PC310 from ebay for $115 about 2 years ago. Not sure if it can still be had for that price.

I always bought street bike batteries in the past with pretty good luck. Make sure the dimensions are similar to the stocker. My battery is a bs 12 or 14??? I'm not exactly sure, but I do know it is made for a motorcycle.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I ended up getting a ytx12-bs from ABC auto today, being sunday I didnt have many choices. I'm sure you guys know what I mean there. I needed it asap because thats the way I am, it was driving me nuts having a dead machine all because of a battery. It was a tight fit with the fuel regulator in its stock location but it fit, and man it started better then ever. Im extremely happy with it and in this case Id say bigger is better. Thanks again smile.gif
