repar magnesium valve cover

Hello, is it possibel to repar the magnesium Valve cover with magnum steel and after i would like to make epoxy on the valve cover?
the max use temps is 300??f, hom many temps for cool system ?

The epoxy is good. Make a plate out of aluminum, instead of steel.
