oil in the filter, do not need update, look

#1 Post by haydug »

I had a dealer bring me a bike, it is spitting oil into the back of the air filter, from the breather tube on right side of spar. This bike has the oil update kit done. When you remove the air filter, it almost acts as if there is a vaccum from this hose, and spitting oil out when you rev the motor. Any one encounter this before??

I have no experience whatsoever but from what I've read it is most likely over filled? Maz just wrote a tech tip on oil filling over in the other forums ya might want to check that out for relevant info. Good luck.

Oil in Filter

#3 Post by out4ya »

I am having the same exact problem. It is not too much oil, in fact it blew all the oil out. YES, I said all the oil. I've done several checks to ensure oil pumps are working. Did lead down test and all was good. I'm out of things to check. Any insight would be appreciated.

What about that check ball that people talk about having trouble with?
