Check the battery voltage

#1 Post by Ryanstones »

is the stock answer for many problems. Also check the fuel tank quick connects.

Otherwise, mmm, ECU problem? Check the connectors.

that's a start.

im not sure about the fuel pump. but when mine fouls a plug, which is easy, it will crank over fine but just wont start. does it backfire when you crank it over for a while? if it does, there is a good chance that the plug is part of the problem.

Sounds to me like you have shorted your fuel pump, thus frying the ECU...
What happens here is that a voltage spike destroys one the driver for the fuel pump withing the ECU.
The constant running of the fuel pump explains this clearly.

Unfortunatly, the only fix is to replace the ECU outright. It may be possible that haydug, jaybr or one of the other collectors here can get you one.
All else fails, set Thomez onto ebay.
