Removing Hydrolic CLutch

#1 Post by Lightman02 »

I have to drop my motor to send it to ATK. I have a hydrolic clutch and assume all I have to do is remove the slave cylinder. I don't have to drain any hydrolic fluid right? Just wanted to make sure.

Thanks

Yeah you just take the three bolts out of the slave cylinder. Also put some tape across the hole in the cases to keep the rod that crosses the engine that disengages the clutch from falling out, it has a small b.b. on the clutch side of it so if you do pull it out(the rod) dont lose the b.b. And dont let someone squeze your clutch lever it'll blow the slave cylinder.

Unscrew the cable and leave the slave cylinder connected. Put tape over the hole where the cable goes into. Get the motard 5th gear. It is worth every penny..
