Carbon Fiber Axle

#1 Post by TheJaspMan »

Does anyone know if they finished developing a carbon fiber axle for the CDale? I know they produced a few for testing.

I believe those were the only ones made.

I would have to try and look it up again. I used some deeper search tools and found the picture, and only the picture. No text. I am currently trying to contact the website owner.

It's suppose to be on a quad out there somewhere. I think there was only one ever made. It'd be a heck of a find. That's probably at the factory.

Man, that things looks cool. I remember seeing this pic before cdale went out of business.
Does anyone know if ATK or Dinli will be planning to follow up on this swingarm/axle setup?

I saw one at the Buds Creek GNC race in '02 - I think Mike Walsh knew something about it.

It is cool, but changing the rear sprocket would be a pain.

Doesn't Sprocket Specialist make a spilt sprocket? I know they do for bikes and some other quads. That would make it simple.
