when i ran my cannondale i used VP ulimate 4 let me tell you that stuff rocks in a dale!!!!!!!!!! it is 6% oxy. by mass and its about $10 a gallon, though its not legal for anyone running nationals it is legal on the local AMA level and local races its rough on fuel pumps though I ran a set up that I got from Diamond Racing and it WORKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran a 50/50 mix of Mobil super and VP112 all last summer. No problems... No issues... No swelling... No concerns... I did not ride a ton so I only used 6 gallons of race fuel... Mixed 50/50 so about 12 gallons of fuel used...

But, no problems...

My experiences was good! Fresh filter, new plug, fresh fluids and hold the heck on Mr.!

First we need to know if you have the old or new style tank and fittings. The old ones had the fitting at the back of tank the new ones both are at front. The new style fittings cannot be taken apart to replace the INTERNAL o-ring which is the one that swells. They are aluminum fittings. However I havent heard of people with the new fittings having any trouble with swelling so I assume they were changed internally.
The old style fittings all you do is remove them from the tank and pull out the little white plunger in the female end remove the o-ring put the white plunger back in.I only did this to the back fitting and keep in mind that with this done when you release the fitting the gas will come out.The only time I had the swelling thing was when I ran VP C12.Turbo Blue and Sunoco didnt seem to bother it.

k, easy enough, so drbowtie, haha love the name still, you haven't had any problems? ill be running texaco 93 octane/vp112 50/50 mix

i have the new tank, both fittings up front i talked with wade himself ( my engine builder) and he said i shouldn't have any problems, and if he says i wont i shouldn't!

but 27 i am running the c12, blue can, have you heard of any instances ( say like drbowties) that the new tank has any problems with the c12/93 pump 50/50 mix?

Nope all the swelling complaints seemed to disappear when they changed the fittings.
