This came out of the Cannibal that I am finally starting to get updated. Haydug to the rescue !!smile.gif

I actually found this to be quite amusing.

The tabs on his clutch disc bent really really bad!Boy you got lucky they didnt break off.

Yeah, that inner friction plate took a beating. I bought this quad from a guy who did nothing but dirt drag race with it. So the clutch has had plenty of hard launches on it. Along with having pro wedge rear tires and a guy who weighs close to 200 the thinner 9 plate setup just couldn't hold up.

I have an 02 cannibal with cable type clutch and it is due for a clutch. is there any tricks, tools I should know of before I change it out. Is it like a honda where you can take an impact wrench to get the centernut off and on?

It's very simple! Just a 5mm allen wrench to take the springs out, and the plates come right out. Just make sure when puting it back together that the last steel is pulled off the cover and installed on the fiber. If not, it wont seat properly.
