i had a past post and it said that i was just riding down the road and my speed quit runnin and it acted like the battery was dead, do i got a new battery fully charged it and it just bogs the battery down when i turn it over, so i called my local cannondale dealer and they said that i fouled a spark plug do u think is sounds right? why would it bog down the battery like that?

riding down the road?? Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I would bet your crank is now locking up. That would explain your new battery not being able to turn over the motor. Take your ignition cover off, and try and turn over the engine. I bet you will find it is very hard to turn over.

Alot of people don't realize that riding a motorcycle down the road is death on the motor. There is no "load" on the engine, causing it to rev quicker and further than designed. This has cost many owner's of all brands a motor or two.

try changing the plug but that wouldn't make it bog down the battery. i'd try to jump start it or test the battery with a multimeter. they don't have much compression due to the decompression device. your flywheel isn't cracked is it?

i jumped the battery and it started but it makes alot of noise now sounds like it comming from the crank area, and while it was broke down i changed the oil could it be that the oil is not run through the engine yet?

Check your oil filter i'm sure it's full of metal.

Check to see if you have oil flow by looking in the dipstick hole while its running. Its an easy check to make sure your pumps are still working. Either way if its making wierder than usual noises then something must have let go and running the engine without inspection may be destroying more expensive parts. If its an 03 then maybe its a cartridge plate bolt rubbing on the basket. Did it have the bolt update done yet.
