Hydraulic clutch bleeding

#1 Post by jn2jhavens »

I have not bled a hydraulic clutch before and was looking for some helpful hints. Also need to know if I can use mineral oil from the grocery store or if this is some sort of special mineral oil?

yes you can use grocery store mineral oil, even though i have yet to find any in the grocery store. they say it doesn't work as good as the magura mineral oil when it's cold out.

you suppose to use a syringe and push the oil up thru the system to bleed it till no air comes out the res. i've heard of people just bleeding them like a brakes though.
