clutch

#1 Post by bestonearth »

I have a 2003 cannibal which has been totally rebuilt by Diamond Racing (crank,450,injectors,new oiling mod.)and Everything has been great with over 30 gallons of gas ran through it. I just recently noticed the clutch acting up, and when I took it out the "ears" on discs are flattened pretty bad. I'm thinking I need a new clutch, but the fiber on the clutch doesn't look bad, however, I'm not sure what the wear should look like. Let me know what you think. Also, where can I get a new clutch preferably a heavy duty one or aftermarket. Thanks

not sure what you mean by "ears". the tabs sticking up on the fibers? there are no aftermarket clutches made for dales, only the factory ones. call haydug, he has some.

Its a good idea to rotate the discs so the ears dont get wore so bad on the last disc.Adding a extra steel helps also.
