What oil do you recommend

Jay- you gonna' sell me a couple quarts out of your case? Do you have to pay haz mat charges for shipping oil?

I've been using Maxima oils. My rebuild of a very used Warrior showed very little wear and it always had Maxima in it. So I continued with teh 'dale. The factory uses(used:() Maxima MTL in the tranny and Golden Spectro in the engines. The R&D guys used the Redline. I'm switching from the Maxima because it's a blend and the same inside source said to use full synthetic.

I have the Redline 10w-40 and the lightweight shockproof oil in stock too. 540 786-3694

Klotz 10w-40 in engine and Klotz 2 stroke for the tranny. Had real good luck with it. I hear redline is very good too.

No I am not a Cannondale dealer. I build and work on Jeeps. I use redline in them.

I was using amsoil v-twin in the motor and honda hp in the trans. After reading some other posts I decided to try the mobil one because it's easy to find. Went with 10-40 in motor and 15-50 in trans and I really noticed the trans shifting better.

I used castrol semi-synthetic motorcycle oil 10w-40 in my 400ex and never had a problem. I used it in the cannondale the first time I changed the oil.
I am still looking for a good tranny oil.
