hey bomb that is a sweet looking moto I wish my bike looked that good. My bike looks alright buts is a woods racer so it gets alittle scratched up at times and you have to keep in on four wheels to keep from mangling her up:)

Sorry I couldn't finish my post. The blue look is due to heat and there is no real way of making it look like new again as the metal itself has changed color. So you could polish it to make it shiny, but it will still have the blue tinge to it!

I used a grinder and some tape. Worked great. No beer till I was done.

I cut my HMF as far back as the rear mount would allow. I used a skill saw and sum patience to cut it. I used new rivets that i got from Haydug to slap it back together. I saved the packing out of the cut section and stuck it inside the remaing part. Overall i'd say it was time well spent, before it was so long everytime i walked by the thing i hit my knee on the pipe

dosent shortening a silencer give you more bottom-midrange and takes a little top-end away?

Wherever you would like to cut it. Even if it is only an inch. Yes you would have to drill new holes for the end cap.
