oil filters

I have the ss oil filter and i decided to go to the paper ones so i ordered 10 of em off the net and when they got here their smaller then the ss filter is this normal or wrong filters?? thanks

The end caps should be identical sized and the paper filters have more pleats. Post a comparison pic .
