Eng removal

Hey guys any tips on removing the eng and are there any do's or dont's I need to know about? about how long should it take?

sorry to say I am reaching PRO status on this procedure now...lmao....the last time here only took me 40 min from start to having the motor on my bench....JIM

i am with you guys, i am still in the hours catagory. just take your time, mark all of the wire connections and hoses. get the radiator out of the way, that is what i found to give me some room so you can see what you are looking at.

Im slow too. Definately mark everything, remove the battery and the radiator.

OH...believe me, I am not happy that I am getting better at engine removal than riding.....it's just the hand I have been dealt....ohmy.gif

another thing that has helped me is to take a bunch of pics with digital camera. then when re-installing it is only a picture away!! but that is just me, I only look at the pictures, don't read the articles!!

Quick questions the fuel Injectors do you just take the holding bracket off and them pull out? Also what do you have to do with the Hyd clutch? I mean what??????????????????s the easiest way with out bleeding the clutch if this is possible. ohmy.gif biggrin.gif
