the radiator does get warm after 5-10 min. I took off the flywheel cover and from what I can tell my wires are not shielded. If thats all it is I am going to be :furious:. All that work for 2" of sheilding:mad:
I put heat shrink around each wire where it goes through the clamp. The heat shrink that I used was from a Ford recall on a blower motor switch, it will go from a 4 guage to a 22 guage wire and it has a glue in it. I am going to go ahead and replace the wires soon with aircraft wire. The air craft wire I will be using has a heat resistance of about 1500F.
I will test the repairs today.
F.Y.I. Orillys auto parts carrys the tool to remove the flywheel, it is the same kit used on some a/c clutchs.
