we hooked up the D&M and in gave us this code. We also installed a new map the bike went a hundred yards and will not start back up.

cool on thre code but the bike still wont start. we put the harrymoto 120 10,000 map on it. also at 2100 rpm my voltage was reading 14.0 and higher, that seems a little high to me.

Um I dont' think the MIL lamp fault has anything to do with the tail light or headlights...

MIL Lamp open or short failure happens everytime you run diagnostic...it is looking for the GP Map Select Kit

Happyboy is right, it has to do with the status lights in one of the higher end D&M kits. This is a normal fault code in most applications. I also believe ****** is right, after you got the this is a diiferent cal message did you use all the fault codes from the computer and not the map? If not Try mapping back to the original map to see if the map was the problem.

The ones that were there before you changed the map. Did you write them down?
