Yea im happy with how quickly i got the motor out for it being only my second time and my first by myself....took me just about 2 hours....well looks like the gasket was my issue there was build up on the side cover as well as the case guess i better pay closer attention next time...Gasket remover on a rag and hold it there for a second the stuff came right off just make sure its cleaned off before the new gasket goes in,

i missed a small piece of old gasket on mine last time out and it leaked luckily i caught it before install.i can get my motor out in 35 minutes if my toolbox is orgagnized the way it should be and im not looking for tols everywhere.i have replaced a few of the hard to get to bolts with zipties.

speaking of silicone... what should be siliconed when doing a full rebuild?

Farrar zipties instead of bolts on your race motor? are you sure that the sand blaster got the sand in there and not lack of torque lol:p
