I had a similar thing happen--including wierd clicking noises, turned out to be a mass of wires/connectors under the leftish side of the ECU tray that come from the handle bars and the keyplate. Mine died after landing off a jump. Same type of symptoms. Did a bunch of stuff, seemed to help, then it happened again. Just by luck, while poking around, I poked this mass of goo and it fired right up. Turns out all the bullet connecters, of which there are like 8 or 9, were all cruddy, and one was loose. That was the problem. Also, on the fuel pressure regulator, there are grounds on both mounting bolts--the insinde and the outside, one of the those loose would do a similar thing. I think the process also wounded my battery, so I replaced it too.

Thanks for the suggestions.

1. The battery was ground to the starter, no spark??? I thought that was odd.
2. The battery was gound to the output of the solinoid, nothing not even a click from the starter.
3. The 10 amp fuse was checked and OK as well as the connections.
4. The relay in the ECU tray was unplugged and looked at, a little corrosion but that isn't in the loop. I could be wrong.

I will have to check the rest. I havn't had a chance yet.

Thanks
