Interesting.....

I am thinking about having two quads to myself, one silly-lightweight (to try and win the silly-lightweight competition) with all the extra-go-go parts and another one with shorter cams, lower comp, all the gear clearances tightened up and a civilised exhaust to use as an 'everyday toy' and keep the neighbours happy....

Some of them covers might help a bit with the racket and if they're only $50 I gotta have some to try out....

I bet those do a great job of baffling the motor noise. I couldn't imagine being able to use them in a warm/hot climate, though.

You know it might not be a issue.Look at all the 4x4's they are darn near sealed.Only time any of our quads has a issue is if radiator is absolutly plugged with mud.Anything is going to get hot in that situation.Might have to try it next summer just out of curiosity.
