Timbo would be the expert, my guess is a late model core with an aftermarket connecting rod. The rod looks similar to Tim's (h-beam). One thing of interest here is that the wrist pin on a Wiseco was galled bad. I have not seen a pin galled before on a Wiseco piston kit.

There couldnt have been any oil.Look at the piston.Cant tell if rod is same width as stock but it looks like it.Thats good.I dont see the forging mark on rod though so its probably a Carrillo narrow that wouldnt be reusable.Its wierd how piston and crank a burned to a crisp yet rod isnt discolored at all makes me think rod was replaced without changing piston.Either way Timbo would not use a crank half that was burned like that.Disgusting.
