The Motion Pro has the exact same graduation scale, and could be used on either side.
BUT, it does Not have the extended rear hub like the Cannondale Kent-Moore unit has, and will not mount to the left side of the crank without making an adapter. So, it is much easier to adapt if for use on the right side instead. You will need to drill out the small center hole of the Motion Pro to 12mm, to fit it on the crank (stator side). Then use some flatwashers to shim it out just enough to clear the case (or stator if attached), and then use the flywheel nut.
