I checked the valves. Exhaust valves are bend. So I'm gonna use antoher head. I have one with low hours, valves are good and no sticky valve buckets.
Is it safe btw to use the cams from my other head? Those have been timed and have good auto-decomp.

I will have the bottom-end ready today. I have a early style H-beam crank wich is from a X440S wich has been ridden once, so the shaft and rod are perfect. I installed a Z400 bearing and pressed it together 15 minutes ago. This is my first crank I have done myself, and I almost got it dead straight, 0.04mm woble at the end (were oil goes in).

Also new roller bearings for the crank, and new ball-bearing for the balance shaft.

Will also install a new stock Asso piston/sleeve.

Are you having that crank professionally trued before you install it? Just curious man.... For my 250R the service limit is .001. My Hot Rods crank just checked out at .013, which is too much.

I compared it to a brand new H-beam style crank. It's about the same, little over 0.03mm.
When I measure my crank at the flywheel it's less then 0.02mm, ofcourse, coz the distance is shorter.

0.0015 in = 0.0381 mm

So I think I did a very good job, first crank I did myself.
