So how were you doing as far as RPM's go at the top of the 8th? I plan on running 18" hoosiers on my Dale too. Did you have pleanty of room left to accel? I'm going to bring both sets of tires with me this year the 18's and the 20". I have a Blaze/speed ts130 map so there is a little difference. I hope to run high 8's by the end of the year after seeing your times. Thats awsome I'm excited.

I am on the stock tires now, but I am going to try some hoosiers soon. Yeah, I am sure that 8's will be easy after I finish the wheelie bar. My tuning software should be here today also. smile.gif

Awsome, keep me updated. Lets see some pics of that wheelie bar when you're done too! When I get some extra cash for some light aluminum I think I'm going to make one up this summer.

I have run the full 1/4 mile on asphalt and can never hit the rev limiter with stock gearing 13/42. I was running 20's and my MPH at the end of the track was 74. I made a bunch of passes so the mph is pretty accurate. This was with a blaze stock map and HMF slip on. Handed some poor guy on a z his azz about 1/2 dozen times.

Alot of people don't want to give credit to the riders of these machines. Yes HP has a factor, but if you can launch and shift better than your opponent than that will always give you some kind of advantage.
