I'm back!
Pete, feel free to call me at 504-782-7194. I'm the using the MSD pump from Summit and it works great. Less amperage draw, more pressure, better compatibility with race fuels and costs much less than stock Waldbro unit. Very minor changes with hoses. I'll be at the NC GNCC. If your there you can take a look.

The stock pump is easily capable of 100psi because I pegged a 100psi gauge when I forgot to reconnect the return line.

Yup Wistech is right but when you buy a pump they rate them for PSI and flow must be regulated PSI.

Sorry to dig this one up, but its the only reference I could find to the MSD pump.

How much of a modification do you have to make here? Just up the high pressure hose to 5/16ths? Do you have to replace all hose with 5/16ths or just the infeed and out feed?

Also, has anyone considered using a high flow metal can style fuel filter on the pressure side of the pump?

I want to get rid of my quick disconnects and go with a better fuel delivery system. Am I barking up the right tree?

Filter on the return side would be very interesting. Here is some quick disconnects I came up with. They work great and have way more flow than the stockers. They will not work with a 02 tank since it will hit swingarm but for 03 they work great.

you Have to get the fuel pump away from the top of the engine. heat is bad. vaporlock and all the cooler the fuel the better.
