From my expierence iridiums, platinum etc.. last longer. They don't provide the most power though. Cheap ole spark plugs seem to work best for power but wear out quicker.

I felt our quads were all running a bit rich from factory, and had a couple of fouled plugs. I switched to the 8 Iridiums before getting a D&M kit, and all motors perked up! The electrode is very small narrow compared to normal plugs, and they have one ground lug -- worth the money when it takes 20 minutes to get to the chimney!

I find the Iridiums are reliable and provide a nice consistant spark. Starting in the cold is no problem. And fouling has never been an issue, even when the '3 push start' rule isn't followed.

You know, turn the key on. Press the start button for a second. Then again and again. And on the 3rd or fourth time hold it in for a few seconds and she fires right up.

I wouldn't doubt it! All weekend I saw you holding a wrench working on other peoples quads. I don't think I ever noticed you throwing a leg over your quad!

What kind of performance do you get out of the Iridiums over the standard NGK?
