See the extra O-ring on the original plate. Anybody else have a missing O-ring on they're plate?

Here's the case from the flywheel side. I think it was originally a cable clutch case that was machined for a hydro after looking at it again. Look at the stator mounting bosses. See the bottom one how it wasn't drilled and tapped right? It's no problem for me (Dynasty 300DX owner ) but it's kinda wierd. Looks the same as my original to me.

I didn't know this site hosted pics. I had to downsize them quite a bit. ohmy.gif

The oil line item that you pointed out was a change that they made. Maybe between the cast and SSM cases. I have read that there is some oil pressure issue with the larger hole?? I don't recall for sure.

Do you see the clutch cable boss to the right and above the hydro clutch salve mount? It has been converted. I have an early model motor as well. What is the serial number on the case plate? Here is a shot of mine.

I posted my serial number a couple days ago. Look for "what case should I keep". I had it wrote down right here somewhere but I can't find it now. This desk is a mess.

The serial number you posted was AAA5B1000729. The serial number on mine was MAA5XA000046. These numbers seem to make no sense when trying to date the cases.
