prototype fasteners

Laptraffic I agree with you but if a person isnt expierienced in safety wiring it may cause more problems.Just looking at options.
Here is what my buddy and I came up with.(shimstock is the patterns for tabs which either are folded over for nuts or stage8 to replace allenbolts)

Stud update will still be used bolts with nuts on represent future studs(dont have stud update yet)

These would be fairly easy to use stage8.Those tabs can be bent over to catch edge of plate where needed.

Crank plate bolt pattern proto tabs are all numbered using these numbers.pg 101 of engine manual.Specs of recess hole depths and clearances are on small paper.Didnt scan well I will fax the papers to them.

pg 156 of manual all this will be sent to them on monday after I talk to them.Hopefully they will make up a kit for us.If anyone wants to add to this or change some of tabs please feel free to help out.

Stage 8

I talked to them today they didnt seem fazed by our problem at all
custum tabs can be made they already have bolt sizes we need they will be contacting me when he goes through all info I gave them.Will keep you informed.

I just got the prototype kit in the mail yesterday!These things are trick.I am leaning toward skipping the stud update and just installing all stage 8 with loctite and proper torque.The stage 8 are same size as stock allen head bolts.Check them out.

Last view keep in mind these tabs are aluminum and can be bent to lock against something.
