It's happened to me also. Got interrupted and forgot to drain one of the drains. There are 4 drains and filter including the trans. Overfilled it and it blew oil out. It could be possible but highly unlikely that one of the frame passageways are blocked. Might try blowing air through one at a time with only one opening open so you could tell if obstructed. That includes those two lines going to the built in frame catch can at back. You should not need two catch cans.

Like Steve is saying make sure all the passages are clear. I the 2 vent hoses on the top of the frame by the dip stick,make sure those banjo bolts are clean and are open in to the frame. I'm guessing you already have the vent line update?

Yeah.

Its raining and cold here today, and I didn't feel like working on anything.

I will check the passages again before firing up the lathe.
