maybe you looked at this post already:
If you still have the S-500 stop switch?...first get rid of that.. Bad news, a proven problem now or later.
You can bypass eliminate, or replace that with a non-momentary switch with compatible plug.
And yes, a jiggly ignition switch can cause the same mystery stalling. You should feel a distinct detent with each key position.
And what about your fuel line routing?... is the suction side going over the head?... maybe it's vapor locking.
