If you still have the S-500 stop switch?...first get rid of that.. Bad news, a proven problem now or later.
You can bypass eliminate, or replace that with a non-momentary switch with compatible plug.
And yes, a jiggly ignition switch can cause the same mystery stalling. You should feel a distinct detent with each key position.

And what about your fuel line routing?... is the suction side going over the head?... maybe it's vapor locking.

The fuel line is going around the side. Im going to try a comprission check even tho it didn't smoke. Im think the decomprsion is stuck closed.im getting good spark and fuel the spark will ark if I don't have a plug in it. Can valve needing ajusted cause it not to just die and not start.

Well I found out the problem. My decomp is gone. And my intake cam wont turn over but my exhaust cam will. The motor turn over fine I don't hear any thing grinding or any funny business. Ill upload a video

Sorry about the valve comment. For some reason i was thinking you said it would start back up sometimes.

Its fine. I didn't explian it all the well. My cumpture crashed an I been typing all this on my phone, and I hate texting. I went an bought a valbe spring compressor I got lucky the valves didn't hit the head. Im going to attemp degree the cam myself.

Did the cam gear bolt back off? Is so where did the timing pins go, did they tear anything up?
