Claas900.... this filter is larger and easier to access/change in the new location, and better fuel line slack for easier tank removal.

and theses filters are 8 to 10 microns, Id like to just mount my filter,so itll be fixed just unscrew the "cap"or"end" drop the filter and be back on my way real fast..
..So really what i want is a "baby" screw on type filter. But everything i find are big,or 1/2 line..i cant even find a 5/16 spin-on..

Yep, like the ones on a diesel tractor!! -- just unscew the base to remove the cartridge -- that would be even easier! The one I use now is a common Fram, and using the small "injector" line clamps that don't damage the fuel line -- much easier than stock setup, but can still be improved... let us know if you find a mini with a clear sight glass and in-line easychange!

..Yeah i think thats what im going ot end up doing...Im sure il go with the BG filter..
..Iv got the pump, fuel reg. and i hope the filter also all under the ECU tray..its going to be tight..but sure it can be done?..
...I think im wanting to move the starter solenoid under there also..so ill just have 2 wires running down the motor to batt. and starter..so we'll see

... by the way, that solenoid fits perfect in the former fuelpump framelugs, with "same" cables, and you can hit it from above and hardly even see the feedwires biggrin.gif

Just got a new Summit catalog. When I was browsing thru it I saw a couple small fuel filters on page 11. The one that sounds closest to what you discribed, is 2.44" Dia. with 3/8NPT. and filter is 10 microns. It is a canister type tho. Part # SUM-G1503.

WOW just looked at the elements $9.88. Maybe you can find one somewhere else?
