I got your e-mail, but the pics are too fuzzy and close to see any detail. What I was looking for was even if the area surrounding the tip is black if the tip is white then you are still lean. I had this happen to me not too long ago on my street bike. Take a couple more pics, but move the plug further away from the camera and shoot the tip.

yeah its very black, would that have anything about the packing

no if you are lean it will burn up the packing. Fat won't have as much of an effect unless there is massive buildup and it ignites. You would know about that though.

If you go too lean you will. A proplerly adjusted system won't burn out the packing. We thought it burned out early for you. We are covering all bases. I have 2 hmf systems and mine always lose their packing quickly!
