My 400ex header did it all the time, but I haven't seen it happen on my cdale.

I agree on occasion mine has been red also but I have done plug checks and dyno runs to be sure mine isnt lean.

i just called timbo (the man who build my motor) and he said that i should get a D&M richin up the flow rate, and i think the said drop the cold start because its fouling plugs so i think i got it under controll, and i just ordered my D&M from haydug so, all i have to do is tweek some little stuff and im good to roll

will do, does anyone know how long it takes to get something from haydug? im only about 1 1/2 hours away?

It sort of depends on how busy he is but usually it isn't long.

My HMF glowed red really bad when I first installed it, and the motor was running pretty lean. It will still glow some, but no where near what it was doing before I richened it.

I'd bet yours is lean, but I also think the thin wall on the HMF header glows easier than stock exhaust.
