no we didnt change the filter yet we couldnt find one but we are going to an auto parts store tomorrow to try and find a plug so we will ask for the volkswagon bug filter thanxs.

where do you get a d&m kit and what does it do

D&M kit - Diagnostics and Maintenance Kit.

It allows you to change maps, and change fuel settings(jetting, for the EFI iliterate). It also allows you to check the voltage, adjust the idle, do throttle cals(probably needed on your Cannondale), and check sensor faults.

Yes, or any pc for that matter that has a serial port. A desktop machine will work too, just kind of a pain to carry it out to the garage.

we got the spark plug and a new fuel filter and are hoping for the best! one more thing the part under the gas tank (cant remember what it is called the shock thing) that is over the spark plug we lost one of the bolts will it be ok to just find one that fits?

Ok so we put in the new spark plg and the fuel filter but it still wont start. it sounds like it is trying but it still wont turn over. what do we do and a D&M is kinda out of the question cause we dont have the money to get one right now.


so we hooked it up to a battery charger and the d@mn thing said the battery was low. we left it on for about an hour and we went out to see what it said and it was full so we tried to start it and the little lever that shows wht the voltage is goes from full to low when u hit the start button and it acts like the battery is dead but goes right back up to full once you let it go. we checked all the wires and they are all hooked up right but it is freakin hot. so what do we do????????????????????????????????????????????????
